Training
Webinars February 24, March 3, 10
1 - 2:30 p.m. ET
ECM Course Two focuses on how entrepreneurship centers can design, deliver, and sustain programs that effectively support entrepreneurs while also strengthening the financial and operational health of the organization itself. Building on an understanding of startup types and growth stages, this course explores how entrepreneurs progress from idea to company-building and how centers can tailor services, education, mentoring, and advisory offerings to meet founders where they are. Participants examine practical frameworks for reducing startup risk, aligning services with entrepreneur needs, and structuring programs—such as education, networking, mentoring, coaching, and advisory panels—that deliver real value to founders while reinforcing a sustainable, mission-aligned business model for the center.
Participants will learn how to:
-
Distinguish between different types of startups and growth pathways
-
Understand startup phases, risk reduction, and readiness for funding and scale
-
Design service offerings aligned with entrepreneur needs and center resources
-
Build effective education, networking, mentoring, coaching, and advisory programs
-
Evaluate which services to offer in-house versus through partners
-
Align program design with mission, capacity, ecosystem assets, and financial sustainability
