Policies, Space Management and Governance - ECM Course 4 - Virtual

Webinars April 7, 21,28*

1 - 2:30 p.m. ET

ECM Course Four focuses on the policies, governance structures, and operational systems that enable entrepreneurship centers to operate effectively, transparently, and at scale. This course helps participants navigate critical decisions around governance models, board structure and engagement, recruitment and intake processes, space and program management, and performance measurement. Participants explore best practices for attracting and screening entrepreneurs, managing graduation and alumni engagement, and establishing clear policies that support both founders and the organization. The course also emphasizes the importance of metrics, milestones, and KPIs—showing how data-driven decision-making strengthens accountability, improves outcomes, and builds credibility with stakeholders.

Participants will learn how to:

  • Design governance and board structures aligned with their organization’s mission and model

  • Establish effective recruitment, intake, and applicant screening processes

  • Develop clear graduation policies and post-graduation engagement strategies

  • Manage space, programs, and operations through consistent policies and procedures

  • Define and track meaningful KPIs, milestones, and impact metrics

  • Use data and reporting to improve programs and communicate value to stakeholders

*please note there will not be a webinar on April 14th due to our ICBI40 even being held in Chicago, IL. For more information on that event, please click here
