Professional Bio
Lynn Kroesen brings more than 24 years of experience in a diverse range of economic development activities and business growth initiatives. A dedicated servant leader, she is passionate about empowering future generations and fostering a thriving entrepreneurial ecosystem.
Lynn holds the prestigious Certified Economic Developer (CEcD) designation, the highest credential in the industry, demonstrating her expertise, professional achievement, and commitment to continuous growth. She is also certified in Business Incubation Management and Entrepreneur Center Management through the International Business Innovation Association, along with several other certifications in small business, entrepreneurship, and economic development.
Since joining the Hillsborough County Economic Development Department in 2007, Lynn has served in multiple roles, including Contracts Manager, Small Business Development Consultant, and Enterprise Zone Coordinator. Currently, she is the Manager of the Entrepreneur Collaborative Center (ECC), where she oversees daily operations, manages a network of 100+ partners and staff, and drives innovative programs to support local entrepreneurs.
Beyond her professional role, Lynn is deeply engaged in the community. She serves as Board Chair of the Working Women Foundation, is on the Executive Board for both the Ybor City Museum Society and Tampa Bay Latin Chamber, leads the 1 Million Cups Tampa Chapter, and volunteers with various organizations across Hillsborough County.
In her free time, Lynn enjoys traveling, biking, exploring local culture, and visiting her four children and grandson. She also loves spending time with her husband and their energetic Australian Cattle Dog.
