Professional Bio

Nancy Cavillones is a program support specialist in the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Program in the Division of Research and Economic Development at University at Albany. After eight years as a high school English teacher in the South Bronx, she embarked on 15 years of freelancing as a virtual assistant specializing in CRMs, light website builds, email marketing and other digital business tools for small business owners, indie authors and indie publishers before joining the team at UAlbany. She holds a bachelor's in Teaching and Learning from NYU and a master's in Urban Policy Analysis from The New School.
