Kailey Towns is a strategic leader dedicated to fostering innovation, collaboration, and growth within Waco’s entrepreneurial ecosystem. As the Senior Director of Operations at Startup Waco, she plays a pivotal role in developing and executing programs that support entrepreneurs, small businesses, and startups—helping them access the resources, mentorship, and connections they need to succeed.
With a Bachelor’s and Master’s in Journalism from Baylor University and eight years of experience in marketing, communications, and operations, Kailey brings a strategic and people-first approach to her leadership. She works closely with the Startup Waco team, partners, and stakeholders to shape entrepreneurial programs, co-working experiences, and membership offerings—ensuring they provide real value and foster a thriving, collaborative community.
At the core of her leadership are the values of kindness, courage, and curiosity—principles that guide her as she builds engaging programs, strengthens community partnerships, and supports local founders.
