Amie Cannon

Amie Cannon is the Director of Operations & Incubation at the Tulane University Innovation Institute, where she steers strategic operations and financial management to support innovation and entrepreneurship at the Innovation Institute and across the university. With over 20 years of experience in healthcare and higher education administration, she brings deep expertise in organizational operations, budgeting, stakeholder engagement, and cross-functional leadership.

In her role, Amie works closely with university leadership, faculty, and external partners to advance innovation initiatives, manage complex programs, and drive operational excellence. She plays a key role in supporting venture development, overseeing incubation efforts, and aligning resources to accelerate impact.

Amie is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Organizational Behavior & Management at Tulane University, where she continues to strengthen her expertise in leadership, strategy, and organizational effectiveness. She also holds an Entrepreneurship Center Management (ECM) Certificate from the International Business Innovation Association (InBIA).

Known for her collaborative approach and attention to detail, Amie is passionate about building systems, programs, and partnerships that foster innovation and sustainable growth.
