Save the Date - Upcoming INBIA Events

NBIA Soft Landings accreditation has been invaluable in promoting the role we can play in helping international companies enter the Australian market. It has helped us attract some great technology companies from around the world that are capitalising on the opportunities for Australia to be the base for their expansion in the Asia Pacific region.

Entrepreneurs help advance the global society at astounding rates.  However, many start-ups fail to survive the first year due to lack of guidance and support to cultivate their ideas into a sustainable business. InBIA recommends entrepreneurs find and enter an incubator, accelerator or other related program to help assure their dreams of success are realized. Historically, InBIA members report that 87 percent of their graduates remain in business at least three years after completing the program.

Why enter an entrepreneurial support program?

  • The cream of the crop — only the best and most viable companies are accepted in these programs, which is a great selling point for potential investors.

  • Targeted services — These programs specialize in start-up and emerging companies, with services designed especially for young companies' particular needs.

  • Intensive, ongoing assistance — Client companies of these programs receive one-on-one attention from business experts, day in and day out, whether they reside in an incubation facility or are a part of an outreach program.

  • Links to capital and service providers — Most programs help their clients access debt and equity funding, as well as link them with service providers like lawyers and accountants who specialize in small business needs.

  • Specialized facilities — There are niche programs that focus on particular types of companies, such as life science, technology, food or creative industries, and have the necessary facilities, equipment, and expertise.
